Privacy Policy

Hindivine is a clinic management app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Your phone number — to sign you in and to link you to your clinic records
• Your name and email — if you provide them
• Health information entered by you or your clinic — weight, diet plans, appointments, programme details
• Messages between you and your dietitian

How we use it

To show you your diet plan, weight history, appointments and reminders, to let you message your dietitian, and to send you notifications from your clinic. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Your clinic — your dietitian and clinic staff can see your records. That's the point of the app.
• Service providers — Google Firebase for sign-in verification and notifications, and GetStream for messaging. They process data on our behalf.
• Nobody else, unless required by law.

Where it's stored

On servers in Mumbai, India.

How long we keep it

Your clinic keeps your medical record for as long as required by Indian medical record retention rules, and this obligation applies whether or not you use the app. If you delete your account, your app access ends immediately and permanently — but the clinical record your clinic holds is retained under that obligation.

Your choices

• Delete your account — Settings → Delete Account in the app. See this page for details.
• Correct your information — contact your clinic.
• Turn off notifications — in your device settings.

Children

Hindivine is not intended for use by anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian, and accounts are created by clinics as part of care.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is limited to your clinic's staff. No system is perfectly secure, and we don't claim otherwise.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the date below.
